At the end of the final, between forests and cornfields found the Hotel Rústico Lugar do Cotariño. An ancient village of stone that Alberto decided to transform into accommodation for those who visit could enjoy next to him and his family from this part of so special of Galicia.

Two “hórreos galegos” give us the welcome to this place where everything is ready for rest and relaxation. On arrival we show their leisure room, the outdoor terraces, its glazed gallery and its garden in the shade of the trees in which they have designed several projects to ensure the housing continue evolving in its same line.

The names of their rooms make reference to some of the animals that can be seen in the surroundings of the hotel. We stayed in Alca, located in the main house. In it you can feel the stone of more than three centuries and the taste of its creators to merge it with the woods, fabrics of Becara that dress and antiques from different sites.

From its garden starts several paths that between the forest are going to give a coastline as wild as beautiful, a coast where they took place most of the subsidence that made the British press the qualify as “Coast of the Death”, the name by which he is known today in day to Costa da Morte. One of the best preserved areas of our entire coastline, where you can enjoy secluded beaches, the Cape Vilán, temporal in winter, dunes of infarction and many other secrets.

Secrets that Alberto and his son you are showing so you can meet them with your own eyes and at your own pace. Although the coast is the protagonist in the interior surprises with its “castros” from the Iron Age, Romanesque churches, “pazos”, medieval castles and routes between forests, rivers and waterfalls.

Very close to this people of Camariñas, known for its lace, ideal for testing the products brought to its port in one of the restaurants with a view to this.

In Lugar do Cotarino, breakfasts are served at the table. Natural juices, eggs to your liking, toast and homemade cake are some of its proposals to begin the day.
